Food lovers, cider enthusiasts and music fans are in for a treat this weekend as the Northampton Sausage & Cider Festival returns to the stunning surroundings of Delapré Abbey.
Taking place on the South Lawn, the popular festival promises a packed programme of delicious food, refreshing drinks and live entertainment, making it one of the most anticipated summer events in Northampton’s calendar.
Visitors will have the opportunity to sample more than 30 artisan ciders, ranging from traditional favourites to fruity blends perfect for enjoying in the summer sunshine. Whether you’re a seasoned cider connoisseur or simply looking to try something new, there will be plenty of flavours to explore.
The festival’s food offering is equally impressive, with a variety of street food vendors serving up handcrafted sausages, smash burgers, South American-inspired barbecue dishes and an array of tempting desserts. Organisers have carefully curated a selection designed to satisfy every appetite throughout the day.
Adding to the atmosphere will be live performances from some of Northamptonshire’s finest local musicians, providing a soundtrack of entertainment across each festival session. Combined with the picturesque setting of Delapré Abbey, visitors can look forward to a relaxed and welcoming festival experience.
The event takes place on Friday 12 June from 5.30pm until 10.30pm, with two sessions available on Saturday 13 June. The afternoon session runs from 12 noon until 4.30pm, while the evening session takes place from 5.30pm until 10.30pm.
As the festival is strictly for over-18s, organisers are encouraging attendees to book tickets in advance, with sessions expected to sell out.
